On Thursday 23rd February 2017, the second Chippenham Business Awards took place at the Neeld Community and Arts Centre and what an utterly fabulous evening we had!

We were joined by over 150 guests resplendent in their 1920’s themed glad-rags who proceeded to raise the roof as the whole room cheered on each winning business as they collected their awards. Compered by Chippenham BID’s Interim Manager Matt Powell and new BID Manager Simon Philpott, the evening was carried forward by our special guest compere Marc Allum as we saw individuals and teams take to the stage to celebrate their successes with an iconic trophy, designed and created by Wiltshire 3D Centre.

Simon Philpott, newly appointed Chippenham BID Manager, said:

“I was proud to witness the vibrant, dynamic, successful business community that is Chippenham. We have been too modest about this for too long and now is the time to crow about Chippenham as a great place to live, to shop and, as was evidenced last night, to do business.”

The Chippenham Business Awards will become an annual event and something we hope businesses can look forward to in their busy calendars.
